Shopware for B2B — connected to your systems

Description

The shop is rarely the problem — the systems behind it are

B2B shops are something different from consumer shops. There are customer-specific prices, product range approvals, order histories, repeat orders and approval processes. The shop is rarely the problem here — the connection to the systems behind it is. Situations we encounter regularly. In no particular order — each case stands on its own. The existing shop is running, but the version is reaching end of life. Customisations and plugins that have grown over time cannot be transferred one to one. An inventory of what is actually used — usually considerably less than what is there. Data migration, rebuilding of the functions genuinely needed, redirects for all existing addresses. The redirects. A technically clean migration without a redirect concept costs the visibility built up over years. Price scales and approvals are maintained in the ERP, while in the shop everyone sees the same thing. Prices and approvals are taken from the ERP — queried live or pre-calculated depending on what the system can bear. Response times. A correct price quotation that takes four seconds costs more revenue than it protects. The standard search only finds things for those who know the article number. With ten thousand articles, sales break down at this point. Indexed search with typo tolerance and filters, supplemented by an AI-supported search that also understands descriptions in the user's own words. Measuring what people actually search for. Search queries without results are the most honest sales statistic a shop has.
