CM Instrumente GmbH

CM Instrumente GmbH manufactures surgical instruments and devices in Tuttlingen. The requirements for the range are determined together with surgeons from the various specialist fields.

The company started out in 1993 as a pure sales organisation and today is a manufacturer with a high degree of vertical integration: from machining on CNC turning and milling centres to final assembly. Via CAD-CAM, customers' design data can be implemented directly on the machining centres — this is also the basis of the company's competence as an OEM supplier. The high degree of vertical integration allows virtually seamless quality control.

The portfolio comprises more than 18,000 basic instruments in various sizes and versions. In 2024 CM Instrumente received MDR certification under the European Medical Device Regulation.
