ERCHINGER AG is a Tuttlingen institution: founded over 70 years ago as a family business, today a company of the Swiss WISTAMA AG and therefore broadly networked with access to the latest technologies. A core team of around 30 regularly trained specialists — experienced technicians, CNC specialists and surgical instrument makers — stands for top quality; flat hierarchies make the company flexible and quick to respond.
ERCHINGER realises and manufactures instruments for customers in the fields of spine, proctology and surgery. The spectrum ranges from standard instruments to highly complex, customer-specific instruments. Under ER Solution the company provides support from the first technical drawing through reverse engineering and manufacturing optimisation to series production; under ER Line its own instrument sets are available — for example a lumbar spine rod and screw system and a cage instrument set, which can be adapted to the customer's implant system with little effort.
All processes are validated to EN ISO 13485 and regularly revalidated; all production steps are archived in full in the Device History Record (DHR) and made available on request.
