MICROQORE MEDICAL is a family business in Aach, founded and run by Brian Fürderer. Microsurgical instruments are developed and manufactured at a single site — 1,543 variants in 48 series, every instrument inspected under the microscope, certified to ISO 13485:2016.
The range comprises micro needle holders for cardiac and vascular surgery, micro forceps, micro and coronary scissors, sliding-shaft instruments for thoracoscopic and minimally invasive surgery and Castroviejo calipers. Almost everything is also made from solid titanium — around 40 per cent lighter than stainless steel and non-magnetic; with an additional DLC coating on request.
Ratchets, milled parts, turned parts and screws are produced in-house. This makes repairs possible even years later and is at the same time the basis for bespoke items, OEM and contract manufacturing to drawing — from prototype to series production. The company trains surgical instrument makers, one of the rarest skilled trades in Germany, and works with electricity from its own roof.
