Description

Diamond-like carbon coatings (DLC, a-C:H, a-C:H:X) with high hardness, a low coefficient of friction, chemical resistance and biocompatibility for tribological systems in medical technology. They prevent abrasion and galling and permit dry-running applications. For implants the black variant axyprotect med with higher hardness is suitable; indentation hardness 10 to 25 GPa.
