DUFNER has been producing surgical instruments in Tuttlingen for over 50 years. The family business is represented by agencies on every continent and supplies users and specialist dealers worldwide.
It manufactures endoscopy systems as well as standard and special instruments for open surgery — quickly, flexibly and to individual customer requirements. Prototypes and series products are created using 3D CAD and modern production technology.
The company's own developments include the needle holders in DIRONDAL design with softly curved edge transitions and the Ciradur® instruments with a synthetic hard coating. Two sets have been created in collaboration with clinicians: the lobectomy set “Hansen — Copenhagen” with Prof. Dr Hansen of Copenhagen University Hospital and the hypospadias set “Hadidi-Special” with Prof. Dr Ahmed Hadidi.
Beyond manufacturing, DUFNER offers a repair service with a guarantee on instruments supplied as well as training in its own training rooms, on request including observation at a reference clinic.
