The Cuno Stamm drop forge was founded in Solingen in 1880 and has developed from a regional craft business into an internationally active company. Since 2003 the management has been in the hands of Dipl.-Ing. Michael Schulz.
The company manufactures blanks for surgical instruments and other special articles: surgical clamps and scissors, needle holders, conchotomes, wound retractors, tubular shaft handles, spring scissors, wound hooks, dental pliers and special pliers as well as hairdressing and special scissors.
The tools are created with CAD support: design with a rendered representation of the die, a plastic prototype and HSC milling of the die. A quality management system to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 is in place for the manufacture and sale of the forgings.
In addition to the plant in Solingen there is a works representation for southern Germany.
