PROMOTEC-Medizintechnik was founded on 1 July 2003 by its owner Mike Horney. The medical technology service provider began with the production and packaging of minimally invasive products for surgery and today produces and packs more than 120 different product types on behalf of customers — from minimally invasive single-use instruments to the assembly of semi-finished parts into the finished product.
In 2019 the company moved into a new production site in Blankenfelde/Mahlow near Berlin with a 150 m² ISO Class 7 cleanroom and an Ulma packaging machine for rigid and soft blisters. Sterilisation is organised through partners.
Anyone with a product idea is supported from research and development through product dummies to planning, production, packaging and sterilisation. The PROMOTEC quality seal stands for high quality standards, regular external audits and continuous exchange with medical professionals.
